Hello Fediverse!

I'm currently writing a master thesis where I will need to get some data on weather of different (mostly) European cities with some GPS coordinates for the last 5 years.

As this is a student project, I do not have much money to pay expensive API access to historical weather data.

Does anyone have a recommendation?
Thank you and try to be nice to yourself today :)

As I'm now suddenly managing a handful of websites for various things I've been trying to learn best practices around making them accessible to everyone. I'd love to hear people's best recommendations for resources in making accessible sites. What are the best places to read/learn about web accessibility? And any development tools to check my work would be great too!

Bright sides lately are few. A small potential silver lining is the trade war now kicking off may end up accomplishing some much needed #degrowth

We will suffer less if we find ways to buy less. Tariffs will be used to justify tax cuts to oligarchs empower the #fascist regime. Avoid them where you can.

what alternatives can people #recommend to avoid FB marketplace for buying and selling #secondHand

Craigslist is still going, and Mercari can be okay if you don't mind shipping stuff.

Looking for a place that can embroider a couple of "morale patches" (military-style Velcro®-backed name patches).

Hard requirement: no Thin Blue Line/Punisher/ KKKonvoy associations, please. This is for sorta silliness/cosplay reasons. I won't support a business that threatens me or my friends.

Nice to have: in Canada, preferably in/close to Toronto. Shipping to (and inside) Canada is incredibly expensive

Finally got around to watching Penelope, a recent series on Netflix, and it is quite a stunning and compelling show.

The show is quite simple in premise, "A 16-year-old girl who feels alienated from civilization attempts to build a new life out in the wilderness.", but is absolutely beautiful in its execution. And kudos to actress Megan Stott, who is perfect in the lead role

Hi #blind community!
Recommend me please some #accessible calendar and task manager.
Maybe I want something unreal but I need good #accessibility on Android, on iOS, and on Windows.
Actually I want all main calendar and tasks features, such as a table view with week days along with number of events on each day cell, an ability to open day view by clicking on a cell, quick creation of a new event, notifications and reminders on upcoming events.
When I've used Apple products I enjoyed Apple calendar app on iPhone and MacBook. But for Windows and Android I can't find anything such accessible and simple.
Google calendar is good on phones but is too strange on Windows.
And other services... I just don't know.
