A Great Spotted Woodpecker up a tree at Sculthorpe, we heard it calling while on the woodland loop of the boardwalk.
A Bullfinch in the nettles at Sculthorpe Moor on Sunday. It was watching for a break in the activity near the feeder at the Dragonfly hide.
After a good munch on the sunflower hearts one of the Goldfinches hung around a little longer, perching on the old TV aerial.
The Goldfinches are visiting our garden again. There were 4 in various spots but the sunflower hearts feeder is a favourite.
What can be done about "the rich?" The rich effect \ influence is generally negative on communities. E.g., undermining democracy, using up far more resources than the average person. Privatisation & private Jets, monopolist mindsets, etc
The super rich are “hoovering up” #Norfolk land
> Italian counts, Dubai royals, and German heirs now own swathes of Norfolk. Family farms can’t compete
This is the most magnificent horse chestnut tree that I have seen in a long time. Absolute beauty.
Sitting in the middle of a wet woodland, it completely dominates its location. Wonderful. And massive!
If you zoom in you can see people under the canopy for some scale.
First Palm Warbler of the season, at the tail end of sunset out at Mass Audubon Stony Brook.
Two weeks today! #Norwich #Amiga Group meet at Albion Games Cafe - Sunday 27th April 3-8pm. Free entry as always, and possibly a game tournament thrown in there too (if we can get link-up working it'll possibly be Stunt Car Racer). Do come and join us - all are welcome and we always enjoy seeing new people attend too.
If you arrive early enough you too could have a #Pacer all to yourself.

Just came across this place posted on another site…
https://burnhammarket.co.uk/old-school-books/
‘Old School Books in Burnham Market, shelves of lifestyle coffee-table books on gardening, cooking, travel, interiors and more.’
It’s in one of #Norfolk’s poshest and most expensive postcodes.
If it’s intention is to keep the commoners out, they have succeeded.
Coffee table books are literally just peacocking, they will never become well-thumbed dog-eared gems. Their
raison d'être is jealousy.
