While the shism between pdflatex and LuaLaTeX worries me, regarding development, the #LaTeX devs seem to be doing it right.
Some TeX Developments · The mythical LaTeX3When the LaTeX Project team took over maintenance of LaTeX from Leslie Lamport, LaTeX2e was planned as an intermediate release to resolve immediate issues with the then-current LaTeX2.09. The ‘e’ (or properly ε) was meant to indicate a small change from LaTeX2.09, with longer-term plans centred on LaTeX3. As we know, that proved rather hopeful, and we are still using LaTeX2e today: at least, that’s how it still announces itself.

#logseq nutzt als backend entweder #markdown oder #orgmode . Letzteres kann man natürlich über #emacs auch direkt nutzen und damit sehr gut aus Notizen und Ideensammlungen sehr akkurat gesetzt über #LaTeX PDFs kreieren... Für Poster, Präsentationen und Fließtext schon getestet.
die komplette verschränlung mit Logseq ist noch nicht gelungen, werde berichten, wenn fertig.
Work was a bit too exhausting for me to get in on the Int'l Asexuality Day bandwagon yesterday so here I am still tired af and a day late.
I'm ace, I'm kinky, and I'm into rubber and a bunch of other things, and I'm here to make it everybody else's problem in all the good ways. 
(I don't have much choice in the matter anyways, because I'm a bit stuck in this formal pride suit! >////////>;;; )

TeXMe received over 9 million hits in March 2025. That's amazing, but also baffling! Who exactly is loading TeXMe, and from where, that it racks up millions of hits?

Ich erstelle gerade H5P-Inhalte in Mebis zu Potenzen und verwende dazu LaTeX-Formeln. Gibt es einen Befehl, so dass die Formel nicht zentriert geschrieben wird? Ein einfaches $ Zeichen habe ich schon ausprobiert. Das geht nicht.

Made a few updates and released a new version of #calliope , a #bash script based utility to write a journal using #LaTeX. Since it's #LaTeX based, you can pretty much add whatever you wish to your journal---images, other PDFs, beautiful maths, and of course, you can customise it as you wish to suit your needs. It's all managed by #Git and if you'd like you can encrypt your journal entries using #gpg
