Emeritus Prof Christopher May<p>If you missed Prof DJ&#39;s Soul Night in Lancaster on Friday, but live in the Lune Valley, Prof DJ is doing it all again on Sunday afternoon at The Royal Barn, Kirkby Lonsdale (LA6 2AB) where Soul Sunday is always a good way to decompress....</p><p>four hours of prime soul cuts from Northern Soul to Motown, from Stax to country-infused Southern Soul, every track is lovely curated - not to be missed (but then I would say that)</p><p><a href="https://zirk.us/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/soul" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>soul</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/KirkbyLonsdale" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>KirkbyLonsdale</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Cumbria" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Cumbria</span></a> <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Lancashire" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Lancashire</span></a></p>
Pete<p>That charred gap was the store in <a href="https://toot.bike/tags/KirkbyLonsdale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>KirkbyLonsdale</span></a> where I'd do a lot of my Christmas gift buying. It burned down and some poor sod died in the fire a couple of weeks back. It sold outdoorsy stuff and army surplus with an Aladdin's cave-like vibe. <br>Gonna go shopping in the town today anyway as other businesses there are suffering and they could do with the trade.</p>
