Went for dinner, it was lovely! Had a lovely time. The restaurant is big, very clean, and really bright inside. The staff are soft spoken but patient and kind. There's pervasive #racism in most of rural America in part because so many racists fled cities and close suburbs as they became more integrated, starting ~50 years ago.
Ending formal housing and educational discrimination had the perverse side-effect of concentrating the most virulent racists in places close enough to commute to a town which is more integrated than Klanners can tolerate.
And Klanners sure do breed...
