ZendadaistThought I'd fire up the ol' <a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/tags/ingress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ingress</a> app to see if the portal that used to be round the corner years back when I played was still there, as a way of perhaps helping with my little walks trying to rehab my foot.Unfortunately the app hangs on the loading screen (that loads so slowly I've sat through faster powerpoint presentations) and none of the buttons function. Nothing I've tried has fixed it including uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting the phone, changing every game-related setting on the device etc. Checking the latest reviews on Google Play have shown other folks with this issue as well, but so far no solutions. The device is a Samsung Galaxy S20 so not exactly decrepit even if it is a few years old now.Guess no portalling for me.

The goal was actually to drop a control field in a cell phone game I play called <a href="https://mastodon.erasethis.net/tags/ingress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ingress</a>, but it was just an overall great day to take a boat out on the <a href="https://mastodon.erasethis.net/tags/water" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#water</a> of <a href="https://mastodon.erasethis.net/tags/lakeerie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lakeerie</a>. I hadn't taken the kayak out in a couple years since its an activity that I cant take Raven with me, it was worth it though to rid the area of the control field that went from Ashtabula, to Cortland, to Cleveland. They did good coordinating such a large field but they have held the lighthouses for far too long. If you're into things like geocaching with a capture the flag spin check out ingress (and choose the enlightened team when you sign on ;) )
