My first thought is to wonder if their winter shoes had fallen apart and they can't afford a replacement.

I found a copy of one of the Levellers demands online "An agreement of the free people of England".

Sad to see that those in power now, are allowed to be corrupt, and want to take away our human rights.

We, the free people of the UK, need to be more demanding of those to whom we give the gift of power, and remove it when it gets abused.

#RishiSunak's #reshuffle yesterday confirms that since the #Brexit vote the 'churn' in ministerial roles has accelerated.

As Tim Durrant (Inst.of Gov) has argued this focusses ministers on 'quick wins' leaving strategic issues ignored or under-emphasised. Moreover, this lack of continuity means a repeated change of priorities & emphasis that makes governance incoherent.

Its pretty clear that this country is not being governed so much as farmed for personal advantage.

Looks like another #byelection could be in the offing as #PeterBone's six week suspension gains House of Commons approval, triggering the prospect of a recall petition & our seventh by-election since the start of July... and on current experience might be another high profile swing against the #Tories.

No wonder #KeirStarmer is pushing for a #GeneralElectionNow & #RishiSunak is hoping something might turn up in the next 52 weeks.

This really is the twilight of this generation of #Tories!
