One month to go till the County Council elections. For the counties that haven't cancelled them because they want to fast track the conversion to Unitary councils and mayors.

1) #GTTO Get the Tory Out. Too bad for too long
2) #KRO Keep Reform Out. Solution to Blue Tories is not even more extreme Pale-Blue Tories
3) #GLO Get Labour Out. Punish Red Tories for being the same as Blue Tories

Vote LibDem, Green to do the right thing.

You can hate the Red Tories just as much as the Blue Tories. The solution isn't the even more extreme Pale Blue Tories.

#ATAC All Tories are Hunts #GTTO Get The Tory Out

#ARAB All Reform are illegitimate. #KRO Keep Reform Out

#GLO Get Labour Out. Punish the Red Tories for being the same as the Blue Tories.

If you don't vote at all, you will just get more of the same. Or worse.

@Gaudy I vote green locally. I voted Labour to #GTTO which worked. But they didn't finish the job. And now I hate them (and myself!) for them turning into Red Tories. I was briefly a Labour member until disgust with their Brexit views forced me to cancel.

I desperately want PR so I don't have to keep making these choices. But PR has it's own problems. In the UK, it would probably fuel the extreme right as much as bring back a real Centre-Left.

The MSM stories about the Rise of Reform UK Ltd are terrifying. We need to #GTTO but also #KRF (Keep Reform Out).

Oh my daze. “radical young men inspired by Musk" !?!? And Russian bots.

Amy Pattison (a student at Sheffield Hallam university) sums up a lot of what has been said here in recent weeks/months:

'It feels like the lesser of two evils – it’s definitely better than going back to what we’ve got.... All I know is I won’t be voting Tory. And whatever I do vote will be tactical'!

I cannot imagine Labour using the lesser of two evils as a slogan, but for many that's what UK democracy looks like right now!

More data on the continuing engineered .... this time on the proportion of people waiting for more that four hours in A&E (and that is once they've actually got there, of course).

The last decade has seen A&E capacity stretched to breaking point.... even if the are successful at pushing people towards private , much of the A&E 'traffic' would be refused by cherry picking private hospitals, leaving anyone who has an emergency in a vulnerable position.

More evidence that over a decade of rule has been bad for our , as life expectancy after rising (through a momentum effect) at the start of the current Tory period has now fallen back to levels at the start, reversing the (momentum) gain & now falling.

Of course this reflects linked health issues, the engineered as well as health problems resulting from , & economic insecurity.
