Back in December 2023, when I was in the depths of my first bout of COVID and struggling to read, I found myself coping best of all with non-fiction. I had picked up a small philosophical volume, "Lessons in Stoicism" by John Sellars, and it was a fascinating read which slipped down well while I was feeling poorly.
