New to my online shop: small matte posters and blank spiral notebooks, digitally printed with a selection of my paintings , such as Lolling Miksi (watercolour on paper, 28 cm x 38 cm, 2014), Juhannuskokko 1 (acrylic on canvas, 100cm x 80 cm, 2017), and Iris Sibirica (acrylic on canvas, 90 cm x 70 cm, 2015). When the autumn colours take over the ground plants and trees in Lapland it is called ruska, and that is what inspired my series of repeat fabric designs by the same name. The designs are available as digital all-over-prints on tote and drawstring bags. The tote bags come in two sizes, the larger of which has an inside pocket. On Bluesky there's a "favourite cat art that I made" thread, and while I can't decide on what's my favourite, and it's been a few years since I last painted cats, I'm proud of the way I captured the character of Seppo the sphinx cat. (And how well he works on a mug, sending passive-aggressive messages to co-workers on coffee breaks.) Original watercolour from 2014.
