The company's CEO, Sam Altman, responded to the criticism last Sunday by describing it as "democratization" of art creation. @ArtNews's digital director Harrison Jacobs says Altman's missed the point, quoting Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki. "I can’t watch this stuff and find [it] interesting. Whoever creates this stuff has no idea what pain is whatsoever. I am utterly disgusted. If you really want to make creepy stuff, you can go ahead and do it. I would never wish to incorporate this technology into my work at all. I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself.”

SD 3.5 large is a bit of a hit and miss experience, but ComfyUI is a surprisingly well-made software.

I had to use a tainted Linux Kernel to generate this picture, so I really do have mixed feelings about this technology which I still see as a social dead-end in terms of business. Also, I think it takes away a part of the creative process that is crucial in interesting/long-lasting art, but it looks clean.
