Birds of the day:

Becky spotted this amazing barred owl, sleeping in the trees, and later, we saw what I believe is a leucistic* song sparrow. (A very rare sighting)

*Leucism - An animal condition in which there is partial loss of pigmentation resulting in white, pale, or patchy coloration of the skin, hair, feathers, scales or cuticle, but not the eyes. Not albinism.
