Time for another #introduction! This one is about my research.

I'm a #linguist. My research combines #phonetics and conversation analysis. I'm interested in sounds we make while talking that aren't speech sounds, like clicks and swallows.

I'm working on a third edition of my textbook Introduction to English Phonetics. I'm trying to diversify the voices represented in it, as well as update it with new stuff.
