@jolibourgeois ahh! Though I'm reminded of a paper that listed several distinct accounts of this encounter, all coming from different sources. The way being, the moment was so stellar that one was bound to be disappointed by the lack of interest both Joyce & Proust showed for the other's work, which I'm sure tells so much about the importance they regarded to their own work.
