@interfluidity yeah I've long thought 50 mil is the upper limit of what a mere mortal person or family should be able to accumulate: enough to live total luxury for the rest of your life, but not enough to control too many corrupt pigs.
@cjpaloma @interfluidity (if you mean people who own 100 mil+, you want "hectomillionaire". A centimillionaire has €10k to their name, which is more than many but not exactly obscene)

when in doubt...I go by dictionary definitions…and at least in the US
@cjpaloma @interfluidity I didn't know it was an established term and just read it as an SI prefix. Fair enough! Annoying, though.
@barometz @interfluidity I come from a family where -"cite your reference!" was invoked with frightening regularity and in a wide variety of tones… and we also really did have hand signals to use to categorize our declarations…as in if something was a fact, a theory, or opinion, so I'm quick to check myself…and annoyingly.. others.
