That the WSJ missed the actual explanation is pretty wild. I wonder if it's just stupidity on their part, or agenda-driven stupidity? Maybe this is a strained effort to combat the de-dollarization narrative coming from BRICS supporters? Or maybe their journalists just don't pay very close attention to the beats they're supposed to be covering. Either one seems plausible to me.
