Artistic Irony?

Here in Matosinhos the Design Museum (Caso Do Design) is preparing for an exhibition called 'Being Water / Petricor; The Smell of Rain'.

But first, they have to pump out all the rain water that has flooded the gallery in the latest downpour.

A modern museum building in pale brown stone, with it's entrance below street level visible. Across the middle of the picture runs a banner giving the name of the latest exhibition: Petricor, O Cheiro Da Chuva (the smell of rain). Near the lower entrance several workmen are seen, with active pumps removing flood water from the gallery. Some carpets have been removed and hang over a rail to one side.
