Negative Space.

From a collaboration with Southampton Astrodome (University of Southampton, UK). This is one of a series made using old acetate star maps as negatives.

The maps represent a rapidly receding era where starlight could only be captured by physical processes.

Working with these maps really brought home the technological progress made in astronomical surveying over my lifetime.
