The great Chinese author #eileenchang wrote that the three most regrettable things in life are that 1) #Shad is so delicious but has many bones; 2) #begonias are beautiful but have no fragrance; and 3) Cao Xueqin’s late 18th century novel of manners Dream of the Red Chamber was superb, but unfinished. To that I’d like to add that #moleskine notebooks are lovely but the paper is not great for #fountainpens.
