We had Eid-ul-fitr yesterday, the second highest holiday in Islam. It should be a day full of joy. We tried to make it like that for the childrens sake - our children/grandchildren, who are healthy and for now, safe, alhamdulillah.
But what kind of Eid is this, when I have to see again many children wearing shrouds instead of new Eid clothes, because they are on their way to the graveyard? So many children only in the last two days. Not to speak of their parents and grandparents.
