@toplesstopics @Xantulon re: toxic Twitter mindset: I'm pleasantly surprised by how different Mastodon is. I've known about it for years, but didn't feel the need to switch because I had assumed it was just basically the open-source equivalent of Twitter. But now I see that it's culturally different. There's a humility and kindness here that is harder to find on Twitter. I really hope that the we newer folks allow Mastodon to change us, rather that colonise it.
