My #stencil from 2009.
Though #JeanGenet was aware of #Fassbinder's film QUERELLE (1982), based on his novel QUERELLE DE BREST (1947), he declined to have anything to do with its production, claiming that he could no longer remember the novel's contents. He apparently never saw the finished product, allegedly saying he wouldn't go see it because smoking wasn't allowed in movie theaters.
