Back to Clemente's "Eros crucified". He ponders the truth of Freud's statement from "Beyond the pleasure principle": "All life comes from death and wishes to return to it". (Would Mainlander agree?) It's always so interesting for me to discover that Freud pondered on and elaborated on such philosophical questions.
It makes me curious about reading him. I'm curious about Clemente's more theological perspective too and how he will unify death and eros at the beginning of life.
