As more firms shift to a four day week (with no loss of pay), will others' scepticism of the advantages in terms of productivity & staff satisfaction start to change their minds?

Certainly, 5000 workers shifting to a four day week is a drop in the ocean, but if this is a permanent move (not just a pilot) then this may start to see an (albeit) slow shift; it will be interesting to see whether offering a four day week becomes a recruitment issue?

The Guardian · Two hundred UK companies sign up for permanent four-day working weekBy Kalyeena Makortoff

@ChrisMayLA6 I'd be very interested to see what industries outside the obvious think of this.

We're told often by detractors that four day weeks only works for office roles and it'll ruin everything for hospitality, but superficially I'd have thought that the pub trade would quite like the sound of 52 more Saturday nights in the year.
