the cost in energy of the data centres used to run the 'cloud' and increasingly powering artificial intelligence exceeds that of all Ireland's urban housing.
Might be time to pause & wonder exactly what is the point of AI?
In the end I think I'd rather have a chance to mitigate the climate crisis than a search engine that makes up its answers.....
