So apparently there's now a tariff on a U.S. military base because nobody at the White House actually knows anything about the "countries" they put on the list, or where our military bases are, and so they put an island with a U.S. base on the list. In case you thought there was some 3D chess going on. No.

Americans' taxes just went up by $6 trillion. That is a million dollars multiplied by 6 million.

Don't tell me Trump is trying to save anything. This guy is a economy destroyer -- and not just ours.

Glad to see CNN telling the simple truth in this headline:

Awaiting reaction from the residents of the Heard and McDonald Islands after the US today imposed a 10% reciprocal tariff on products from the volcanic territory between Madagascar and Antarctica. Might be waiting a bit -- apparently the total human population is (double checks notes)...zero.

There is nothing good that comes from having a President of the United States who is gobsmackingly stupid, surrounded by obsequious courtiers and fellow morons. But the sooner we collectively acknowledge that truth, the sooner we can fix it.

To the rest of the world: we are aware that the United States has been captured by insane sociopaths and apologize for this inconvenience. These policies are wildly unpopular and we will try to fix this in due course. In the meantime, carry on without us and accept our apologies.

Are you planning to stockpile food? I don't blame you, but let me share some tips.

We stockpiled in 2020 and have been using a good system to keep from letting food go to waste. Here are my suggestions.

1) Keep track of what you have and when it will expire. We have a paper pad in our storage pantry where I list each package, when we bought it, when it expires, and then when we used it.

This helps us ID things that we need to use or donate and change our buying habits. 1/🧵

Hidden in the high hills of the Adirondacks there is a peaceful valley.

In this valley, there is a small pond where tiny silver fish dart to and fro.

At the bottom of this pond there is a smooth, brown stone and it knows more about economics than Donald.

Affordable goods? Gone. Public jobs? Cut. Caregivers? Deported. Science? Defunded. Academia? Gutted. Economy? Sinking. But don’t worry, billionaires are doing great!

Dr. David Kessler, former White House Chief Science Officer, gave a sober warning about the HHS firings. He says we only have about a week to undo this, before the damage is permanent.
